Should Emal Be Administered With IV Fluids?

I have been diagnosed with Malaria, I am on antimalerial treatment - Emal injection for three days. This is being given intramascular, in cbc test, my PLC is 75,000. Is it so that emal should only be administered IV with IV fluids ? And with low PLC Emal must not be administered at all ???
