Should External Bleeding Hemorryoid Be Placed Back In The Anal Canal?
I have a rather large external hemorryoid. it has been enlarged for 3 days now. Slight to medium bleeding during stool passing. Have had this before, with the symtoms fading in 3 to 4 days. but have never had any blood that I can remember. Have heard that externals need to be placed back into the anal canal. Your advice for now?
You apparently have an infected hemorrhoid. Hemorrhoid is an engorged vein, which has a delicate wall. It tends to bleed whenever there is increased pressure in the hemorrhoid, or, due to friction-induced injury, such as, during constipation.
It would be ideal that you undergo a minor procedure, which involves injection of a sclerosing drug into the hemorrhoid to close it permanently; or, a simple excision of the protruding hemorrhoid.
Consult a general surgeon and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me and do the needful.
