Should I Be Concerned About Norco Taken During Pregnancy?

I am 9 months pregnant and I frequently have back pain so I take 1 norco or even a half to deal with it...I am afraid that it will show up wen I give birth and I don t want to have any problems with my doctor. Is this something I should be concerned about? I ve heard that pregnant women are being drug tested after delivery. Will my baby be Ok? I don t want him taken away.

Hello dear, I really appreciate your concern. There are certain rules to test narcotics use during pregnancy. If you have taken only 1 tablet for back pain then there is no issue of concern. You must not take narcotics during pregnancy because it is harmful for developing fetus. I advise you to use over the counter pain killer drug like acetaminophen for pain relief purpose during pregnancy. It is very safe drug and don't have any adverse side effects on the fetus.
