Should I Be Concerned About Pimple Like Bump Behind My Right Ear Lobe?
Behind right rear lobe, started with what I thought was a pimple, however it has grown substantially and now ear lobe swollen as well. I know it's liquid because I can squeeze the lobe and it goes back to normal size temporarily. Also very tender, very very tender
I understand your concern. Soft swelling associated with pain and fever may be due to localized collection of bacterial infection. Treatment depends upon the size of the lesion and its severity. To give the exact treatment, it is highly advisable to meet your physician.
If you cannot afford time to go for physician , you can try a)tab cefixime 400mg twice daily for 5 days b)Tab B complex one daily for 5 days. c)Tab acetaminophen if there is fever.
If there is no improvement, culture reports may be required to suggest antibiotic. So, meet your physician if symptoms persist.
Hope fast recovery. thank you.
