Should I Be Concerned About Pressure In The Chest?
Hello. I've been quite dizzy/light headed lately, and feel sick to my stomach; however, tonight I've had severe pressure on the left side of my chest and couldn't take deep breaths. Should I be concerned? I'm currently under pressure from school and family.
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM. I can understand your situation and problem. You are mostly having stress and anxiety related symptoms. But better to rule out cardiac cause first for your chest tightness. So get done 1. ECG 2. 2d echo. If both are normal then no need to worry for cardiac cause. Chest pressure in your case is mostly due to stress and anxiety. So avoid stress and tension. Be relax and calm. You may need anxiolytic drugs too. So don't worry, you will be alright.
