Should I Be Concerned About Small Bump At The Back Of Head?

Hi my 14 year old son has a hard pea size unmovable lump at the back of his head in the middle of the bottom of his skull, he told me about it last Sunday and has been feeling ill. I did contact my doctor and he said its most likely nothing to worry about, but I worried its cancer.

Hello,

It could be a lymph node and it s a usual findings among kids. If you are worried you can consult a physician for reassurance. If there is diagnostic confusion a fine needle biopsy may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
