Should I Be Concerned About Small Femur Of The Baby?

Hi Dr,
I went for a downs screening at 13 weeks, (just to put my mind at ease), this was extremely low, at my Dr appointment at 14 weeks 5 days he mentioned that the babies femur was a bit small... is this any need of concern? His sonar isnt the most up-to-date and i am a bit overweight.... please advise...

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Please get a repeat scan after 1 month and mostly the femur will achieve normal growth and length. Feel free to consult me directly
