Should I Be Concerned About The Ringing Noise In My Ears?

Hi DR,I have a sudden onset of ringing in my ear and it feels blocked, it happened after lunch, ringing feels like a million crickets have lodged in my ear.Should i be concerned,it seems to be gettong worse, there is no pain, I feel like that is all I am hearing.Noises are muffled. :(

Hello,
The ear blockage and ringing in ears are related.
You need to consult an ENT specialist and get done--
--examination of the ear (to see for the presence of wax and condition of ear drum)
---Pure tone audiometry test (hearing test)
---Impedance audiometry test (to know for the presence of fluid behind the ears)

You have problem only after lunch it suggests there are more chances of wax in the ear.
Still to rule out wax or any other disease you need to get the tests done.
