Should I Be Concerned About The Squishy Bump On The Head After Injury?

my daughter hit her head a couple of hours ago, straight away there was an indentation , obviously very upset and cried . then a lump came that was solid but now it has gone squishy in the centre. my daughter has not been sick or shown any other signs mentioned in previous posts but the lump is concerning me.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
The simple way would be to consult a Doctor.
Most of the hematoma become squishy due to liquefaction in the center.
If needed a needle is put in to aspirate. This helps in reducing the swelling and early resolution. A plain X-ray of skull or CT scan to rule out any deep rooted problem is a better option.
