Should I Be Concerned As My Son Rolls His Neck And Cracks It?

I have an 8 year old son, twin B, born 31 wks, had blood transfusions while in the hospital and had an extended stay. Over the course of the past several months, he has been rolling his neck and cracking it. When I asked why, he stated that it bothers him and it feels like he needs to move it to fix it. Is this something that I should look into or is it a possible tick disorder?

Hi. This can be due to a habit alone if there are no associated symptoms or signs like swelling, pain or so. Many times the children of this age see someone doing it - they try and feel good- they follow. If he says - he needs to move to fix it- do not worry.
