Should I Be On Cytomel When My Free T3 Is 1.8?

My thyroid was removed last July. My Free T3 is low. It s 1.8. Should I be on Cytomel or something? I m in desperate need of something more than the Synthroid 100 that I m taking. I want to sleep 18 hours a day. I m so tired, can t think or focus correctly, the driest skin I ve ever seen, gained 30 pounds........and I could go on and on. I need help BAD.

Dear user, hi! you have mentioned only T3 . what is the status of t4 and TSH? if they are normal and only T3 is low then yes cytomel is the answer. but if both T3 &T4 are low then you need to build up on synthroid itself. Regards!
