Should I Be Worried About An Infected Cut On My Thumb Being HIV Positive?

I have an infected cut on my right thumb. I ve cleaned and bandaged it. Now my hand is starting to swell a bit and i have a slight pain going up my arm. I am HIV + and in the midst of changing my meds because my viral load is high. Should I be worried or just ride it out?

Thank you for query.if you have taken proper care of the wound proper topical antibiotic it may be sufficient.If it does not respond or heal then you may need antibiotics .please consult doctor for suitable antibiotic.Dr Bharatesh
