Should I Be Worried About Having Intermittent Vertigo, Nausea And Sharp Headaches After Roller Coaster Ride?

I rode a roller coaster three days ago and now I m having intermittent vertigo, nausea, and sharp headaches. All three seem to go hand in hand. I can go hours with little to no dizziness but then, with no provocation, I will become so dizzy that I can t even sit up in bed. Is this something I should be worried about?

Sounds like you may have knocked a couple of otoliths clean off from your inner ear and they're just irritating Reissner's membrane.....you need not worry....it should get better. If not, then, you need to seek out either a neurologist or an ENT so they can perform either an Epley, a modified Epley, a Semont, or modified Semont maneuver to get that debris out of your inner ear. But chances are you will slowly get better. Same thing happened to me...EXACTLY....I remained dizzy for about 9 months before it finally went away. It took me about 10 years before I felt like trying a roller coaster again....and now I go on them and they really don't bother me!
