Should I Be Worried About The Enlarged Lymph Nodes?

I have had a lump on the back of my neck on the left side for about 6 months it hasnt seemed to grow and I went to the doctor and they did a ultrasound and said I had a couple of enlarged lymphnodes and to come back in 3 to 6 months to see if they have grown but im really worried about lymphoma but they say that its highly unlikely. I am 19 and I weigh 130 pounds no major illnesses other than appendicitis which ruptured and it turned into gangrenous appendicitis last October. Other than that I am perfectly healthy I had a full blood work up and everything was normal.

Hi, I understand your problem. First thing this is not at all related to your appendicitis. As it is since 6 months and you already done ultrasound, I will suggest go for FINE NEEDLE ASPIRATION CYTOLOGY (FNAC) of that site, We will better idea from this cytology report. Consult with your physician with that report. I think this will be helpful to you. Review back. Thank you.
