Should I Be Worried About The Huge Lump On The Buttocks?

i have a large lump about 3 inch wide and sticks out about 1 to 2 inches,its a constant pain.its situated above my right bum cheek but below the waist.i asked my own doctor about a year ago but he said nothing to worry about.i am 43,6.1 and slim so it is very noticeable.

Hi,
This is likely to be a lipoma which is a fatty lump. This is not a serious problem. However, if it is in a position to cause discomfort for example with clothing, you may consider it worth having surgically removed. This would be a minor operation and would result in a permanent cure.
