General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I have gone through your query & understood your concern.
I feel X ray & CT scan are proper gadgets to diagnose boney lesions So consider it to be a cervical rib.
Cervical rib is an extra rib, which is asymptomatic mostly. Only sometimes due to - advanced age/occupational hazard/psychological complex- there is hump like curve to back & this may lead to nerve compression with pain in arm.
So you need not worry, till you are doing good hand exercises ( bracing up ) , have good calcium, vitamin B 12 supplements.
Thanks.
