Should I Be Worried About The Raised Liver Enzymes Level?
i have been having elevated liver enzimes. Latest GGT 188, no physical symptoms, not a drinker, negative for hepatitis, no goldbladder, slight disconfort on my right side under the ribs. Waiting for more results. trying to decide if it is necessary to follow up with a liver specialist

Raised liver enzymes like GGT may indicate liver injury.
You may need investigations like routine hemogram,random blood sugar,lipid profile,ultrasound of abdomen.
It is good that you don't take alcohol and viral markers are negative.
It is important to exclude other causes like dyslipidemia,autoimmune causes,metabolic disorder etc.
I suggest to take tablet ursodeoxychloic acid tablet 300 mg twice daily for three months.It helps in regeneration of liver cells.
