Should I Be Worried About The Sharp Pain In The Ear After Popping Noise From It?

I blew my nose, and my left ear popped like I had opened a clog. Now it has some sharp and dull periodic pain. Have I damaged my eardrum, or should I seek a specialist urgently? I have a respiratory infection, nose drainage, bad cough, mild sore throat.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

Consult Ent surgeon for your condition.

As you have sharp pain in right ear it should be examined by otoscope ...
There might be otitis externa or myringitis like ear drum inflammation...
For that antibiotic and glycerine soaked cotton put in ear.

Analgesic and antiinflamatory drug given...

For sore throat symptomatic treatment done...
Salt water gargle also done...

Here your rhinitis like infection may spread to ear via eustatian tube....
