Hello, well from the history you have given, hormonal contraceptives do have side effects like breast tenderness and abdominal pain. As long as the symptoms are mild , nothing much to worry. But if the symptoms persists or become worsen, then it has to be taken into consideration. Discharge and excessive bleeding due to contraceptive modes have to be evaluated by the gynaecologist.I would suggest you to consult your gynaecologist, as you may require an examination before deciding to keep the implanon in situ or remove it . hope i was helpful to you.
