Should I Be Worried Of Pain Outside Vagina During 38th Week Of Pregnancy?

hello, I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing pains in the outside of my vagina, (at the top) it is swelled and very painful. more so during the night when my legs are tight together, do I need to worry? I haven't mentioned it to my midwife but has been going on for at least a month.
