Should I Be Worried Of The Recurring Cough With A Metallic Taste?

I have a cough that comes and goes, but is persistent when present. It s been exactly two weeks since I first had a URI and spent three days at home. The only symptom left is the cough with a very heavy metallic taste. Should I be concerned or is this simply lingering on from the cold?

Hello,
Thanks for the post on HCM.
I have gone through your History. It is suggesting me that you had URTI for that you have taken the treatment.
Your concern is you are having the cough and metallic taste.The cough will take some time to subside because in viral infection it may last for a month also. The taste may be due to the drugs and the secretions from your mouth.
My advise will be
1.Mouth Gargle with mouth wash
2.Continue the treatment given by your treatment.
You will be fine in few days.
