Should I Consult A Doctor As I Am Getting Dizzy And Sleepy After Hitting With A Basketball?

Hi , my daughter got hit on the head today with a beasketball at school and the school nurse put ice on her head for about 30 to 45 minutes. She now feels kind of dizzy and very sleepy, are these reactions normal or should i take her to the hospital to get checked?

Hello
It seems from the history that you had a injury to head with a basket ball.
Following this since you are having dizziness and sleepy head injury needs to ruled out.
Hence I advice you to consult doctor for examination to rule out head injury. The alarming signs indicating head injury are loss of consciousness following head injury, bleeding from nose or ears, nausea and vomiting... If you any of these symptoms you need to consult your emergency doctor.

Thank you
