Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
The time is not that matters whether it is 5 seconds or more. But broken condom had definitely increase the chance of transmission possibility. Medicine is not mathematics to have a constant answer. So we can not predict exactly about this possibility. At the same time nearly 30-40%of spouses of HIV positive people are free from HIV in spite of their regular prolonged contact and called as Discordant couple. So it is not necessary to be infectious always.
