Should I Get Tetanus Shot For Pin Prick In The Nail?

Hi Doctor, Yesterday I got scrapped with a stapler pin inside my nails.I didnt had any bleeding. I had tetanus booster in September 2011 and in June 2010. Do I still need a tetanus booster? After how many years we need a tetanus dose as it is usual that you get scrapped with a nail, or pin kind of a thing.

Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I have read your query in detail. I understand your concern.
In general i would advise you to get a TT injection shot.
The effect lasts for 6 months only.
So, you should take it.
