Hello
It seems from the history that your niece is having crusting around the eyes on waking up in the morning.
This is because of drying of mucosal secretions and is seen in infective conditions like conjunctivitis.
The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
