Should I Meet A Doctor For Stye On Left Eye And Swelling?

Hi, a stye developed on my left eye (inside behind tearduct) a couple of days ago and this morning the surrounding area under my eye is swollen. I have been using a warm compress over the last 24 hours and the stye has opened to release pus but the swelling under my eye is worse. Should I visit my GP?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having style in the eye. The treatment is by using antibiotic eye ointment and oral antiinflammatory drugs. Applying hit compression to the local area provides early symptomatic relief.
Hence do consult hour GP for confirmation of diagnosis and prescription of drugs.

Thank you
