Should I Recheck My Thyroid Levels?

Hi... I am taking prescription thyroid medication that has been increased in the last 6 months and usually I will lose weight but this time I gained. I weighmore than I ever did.I am 67 years old, 5 4 , and weigh 140lbs. I have added 2 inches to my waitline in this past year. I do have a desk job and unfortunately do not move around very much. Should I have my thyroid rechecked?

You should have your thyroid tested. Weight gain may be due to under replacement of thyroid hormones. Please upload your reports when available.
