Should I Switch OCPs To Prevent The Bleeding?
Hi! I've been taking Sprintec OCPs for about 2 years now and have recently been bleeding about a week early on my pills. (Making my period last for ~2 weeks!) I am religious about taking my pills at the same time every day, and am just wondering if switching pills would be the best option to correct whatever is going on. Thanks!

Menstrual irregularities are quite common when using birth control pills and it is more often seen during the initial few months. Generally it will settle by it own in couple of months. As of now you can take Tranexamic Acid or Ethamsylate tablets for stopping the bleeding and drink plenty of water. If the bleeding persist, you can consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
