Should I Take BP Medication For Having Elevated BP Readings Only At Work Place?

I work in a stressful environment. When I'm at home, my blood pressure is normal; however recently at work, my blood pressure has been high (166/101 last week and 173/87 today.) My doctor wants to put me on blood pressure medications. Should I take the blood pressure medications?

Hi I read your query very carefully.

Your hypertension is related to work sttess and the best thing to do is to reduce stressful work events.

However it' s impossible to eliminate the stres so I recommend to begin treatment for hypertension.

I suggest beginning with betablockers and anxiolitics.

Hope it was of help!
