Should I Take A Rabies Shot For Dog Bite?
Hello Sir, I have been bitten by my dog a couple of hours ago, he was sleeping in dark and i step on him so he bite me on my leg, i was wearing a jeans. it was not a very deep wound it is a strach but there was some blood. Please tell me is there a need on anti rebies?

You never know whether the dog was rabid or not. plus there was blood so dog's saliva may have contaminated it.It is good to have the vaccination done in prophylaxis Get all the five shots and keep an eye on the dog who bit you. Get an infectious disease specialist for further management.
