Should I Take Her To Hospital As She Fell And Have A Small Dent In Forehead?

My sister fell on her head into a corner of the door and there is a small dent in the forehead that was pink at first. while i was putting ice into a ice pack for her the bruise swelled and became purple really quick but after ice pack its still pink but i can still feel a small dent into her forehead skull so I'm worried if i should take her to a doctor or not?

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this fall. From the information you have provided, there is no need to rush her t the hospital right now. The described changes are typical for an a minor bleed into the skin. It would slowly be completely cleared up by the system cells. Unless something else like a change in her mental status, sleeping excessively, sever pains, or increasing swelling, ice packs and some pain medications would be sufficient to get all under control.

II hope you find the above information helpful.Thank you so much for using our services and please feel free to request for clarifications or ask for more information if need be.
I wish you the best of health.
