My T3 and T4 are normal, only TSH fluctuates. I am from Singapore and my doctor has not put me on any medication. He was seeing me half yearly and now has ask me to be back after a year. I am having high cholesterol and think its over my euthyroid. I also have pains in my arms. Must I take medication?

Hello
You are having two problems .
1 TSH fluctuating ,while T3 T 4 are normal , so I would like to advise you that , for this , wait and watch , till there is no need of any medication.
2 High level of cholesterol , you should be worried but not too much.
Presuming that your cholesterol is not too high that to be worried . You may easily get back to normal range.
I see similar cases who visit my clinic.
In the first meeting , I advise my patients to go on life style modifications for 3 months. I retest them again after three months & if they continue be in high range I advise them to take medicine.
1 High fiber diet , green leafy vegetables , fruits.
2 Cut down the processed food, white bread, dough nuts, white sugar, pizza should be completely avoided.
3 A 40 minute physical activities everyday like morning walking, evening walking or visit to a gym or swimming pool.
If these measures fail I recommend drugs .
Since these drugs are a prescription medicine so consult a physician and get his opinion.
Good luck.
