Should Injections Be Taken To Reduce The Size Of Uterine Fibroids?

Hello doctor i have fibroid that is about five years old and the doctor says i cant go for a surgrey right away becos of the size (very large) and that i need to take a certain injection for 3months to reduce the size before i go for a surgery. Am just curious about this injection thing i haven't heard about it before? Is there anything like that?
