Hi, I m a 43yr old male living in Delhi, India, had three stents placed in two arteries after angina a month back, hav no history of bp and diabetes, doctor has prescribed bp tablet and statin along with brillanta and aspirin 75mg although my cholestrol has come down to 80 from 165 at the time of stent placement, I m a little confused as what to do or seek a second opinion, pls advice
Hello & Welcome to HCM, I had gone through your case & as you told that you are having two stents in your arteries.so you should know the life span of stent totally depend upon your proper dose of medication and good life style. So you must have to continue the medication but its doses and power will be changed by your symptoms. Do not stop the medicine without any doctor advice.Hope you are satisfied with my suggestion.
Thanks & Rgards: Dr Soni Verma
