Should One More Chemotherapy Also Be Completed?

My 68 year old brother has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. A tumor has also been found in his lower back. He has undergone 2 chemo treatments ( he is very sick for 2 weeks afterwards) and 8 radiation treatments for the tumor in his back. His oncologist wants him to have 1 more chemo, but he is incapacitated and wants to discontinue. His prognosis was 3 to 7 months. With such a short time to enjoy friends and family what do you think h should do?

Hi

I would advise basic supportive care for him.

As he is not tolerating chemotherapy you must arrange for a home based oxygen cyclinder.

Regards
