Should One Repeat The Test For A Fragile X?

I have legal custody of a 9 year old male that has been tested for fragile X in the past due to his behaviors and little or no response to psychological intervention. The results of fragile X test is some abnormal genes. Do I need to have this test repeated and is there other test that I need to have done so that I and his care givers can develop a better care plan for him?
