Should Oxygen Concentration Be Increased To Elevate The Physical Strength?
i am takingn 2 (units) of oxygen at bedtime each night prescribed a doctor to give me physical strength. I don t have enough strength to go thru a day Can t keep my house chores up. the nite oxygen is seeming to give enough strength until noon. I am 89 and recently went thru hip replacement Sept 2014 and replacement of right shoulder (JUNE 2015) Do I Need more oxygen
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Night time oxygen is the least requirement. The more you use oxygen the more you will be strong and will not feel fatigue or difficulty in breathing. If doctor has prescribed you oxygen for nocturnal desaturation; then besides oxygen you have to use CPAP as well. Hope it helps best.
