Should Prescription Glasses Be Worn For Blurred Vision Caused By A Concussion?
I was in two car accidents, 7 weeks apart, both front end damage. The 2nd was much worse with LOC 1m15s and blurry vision, wearing a c collar for a month. I had my eyes evaluated, I have a rx for right -0.25 and left -0.75, cylinder -0.25 and axis 105. I was told I could benefit from a prism addition in the left but we will try without it for now. Should I get the glasses? I’m three weeks out from the 2nd car accident. Or is my vision change from a possible concussion and will improve with time?

Should Prescription Glasses Be Worn For Blurred Vision Caused By A Concussion?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. The vision changes due to concussion will not improve with spectacles. Therefore, I don t think that there is a problem in using glasses. Hope it helps.
