Should Promethazine Be Taken For Ear Pain And Sinuses ?

Hello my daughter has some cold symptoms that are really bothering her and I wanted to check on the medications she s prescribed and if any others can be taken, and considering drug interaction. She has very bad ear pain, sinuses clogged/running with yellow mucus. She went to her school clinic (away at college) and they have prescribed her Promethazine vc syrup and moxacilin along with suggesting Zyratec D. Should the promethazine help her ear pain and if not can she take anything else with it? She had a lot of coughing earlier today where she said she s almost throw up from coughing so much. I would advise you to have further investigation of the blood and tests for the infected secretions for gram staining, culture and sensitivity,
Continue of Promethazine, this is the most versatile medicine in such a way that it acts differently in different dosages.
Continue rest of the medicines like Zyratec-D; you need additional antibiotics and nasal decongestant drops.
