Should The ATT Be Continued For The Pleural Effusion?

HAI SIR THIS IS SUMA. I GOT PLEURAL EFFUSION RIGHT SIDE 6 MONTH BACK. I AM IN ATT DRUG.TODAY MINE LAST FOLLOW UP. TODAY I DONE CHEST X RAY. ACCORDING TO MY PHYSICION OPINION THERE IS A SOME PATCHES IN LEFT SIDE LUNG. THEY ADVICED TO TAKE ATT DRUG NEXT 3 MONTHS.

I need to know few things. If your initial x ray was clear on left side and recent one suggestive of new left sided lesion than you should go for sputum examination for AFB or bronchoscopy and BAL analysis for TB. And if TB positive in above tests please go for AFB culture and sensitivity. And start fresh treatment according to culture report.
