Should The Regestrone Dosage Be Completed Despite A Scanty Period?

hi doc .. i m 23 yrs old and dint get my period even 8 days from my date. so my gync doc told me to take regestrone 5mg for 5 days 2 tabs each day and nite. i got periods on second day after taking regestrone. but the period flow is very less. so should i cont on same tablets and complete the course or stop it? pls help
