Should The Dent On Tongue After A Fall Need Medical Attention?

I was doing a front flip and landed on my butt, this caused my knee to bash into my mouth and I bit a chunk out of the side of my tounge, I ran my finger along my tounge and you can feel the dent. It has been hurting terribly for a while now so how can I fix it, preferably soon! Thank you

Hello,
Thank you for consulting with HCM.
As you are mentioning that you got hurt from your tooth on tongue and after that you felt a dent on your tongue, it looks that a traumatic ulcer has been developed on your tongue.
To get it relieved you have to start with applying a topical anesthetic ointment on it for example- mucopain of pansorel gel.
It will be relieved within 1 week , so there is nothing to worry.
Hope it will help you.
