Should The Thyroid Medication Be Taken Empty Stomach?
Yes please, I am on Zoloft daily. My usual routine is to take it on an empty stomach in the am and wait an half hour before eating. I am having thyroid problems, getting the right amount per dr. ... I am to decrease Zoloft to 100 mg in am and 50 mg at night for a period of time. I am getting conflicting recommendations on the to take on an empty stomach or with food. Please advise, thank you.

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.
Zoloft is an anti depressant which has no relation to food intake. You can take it before or after food. But you have to take it almost the same time every day.
Thyroid hormone replacement has to be taken in empty stomach in morning.
