Should This Pregnancy Be Continued Or Not?
hi, oct 15th was my last LMP. me and my hubby were in contact on 28th and 31st oct. i took tablet mensovit plus by nov 10th to avoid unwanted pregnancy. but i got pregnant and now itz 2and and half mnths. one of my family doc took scan and advised us to go with the baby as the foetus is healthy with normal heartbeat. but stil my hubby is worried about the baby's condition. 3 days back we had another scan and the baby was ok. wat should we do now ??

Mensovit plus is a herbal medicine which is given to regularise the menstruation. These are not abortificient tablets. These tablets have Aristolochia Bracteata and Ferula Asafoetida as active ingredients. These are not reported to be dangerous for the foetus. Hence you can safer continue the pregnancy.
Moreover, you have undergone ultrasonography scan which has revealed that your baby is absolutely normal. So there is no reason for you to worry about the abnormal child.
If you want to continue this pregnancy, you may; if you do not want, please report to your Gynaecologist for more scientific modes of termination of pregnancy.

Understand your concern.
Emergency contraception contain synthetic hormone progesterone.
It can cause fetal malformation and defect but in rare case.
So you can continue the pregnancy as you have normal baby.
But you should consult the gynecologist and fetus specialist.
Follow up USG and fetus scan must required every month to know the progress and development of fetus.
If any abnormality will detect, you can do medical abortion.
