Sick With Congestion, Sore Throat And Clogged Ears, Seasonal Allergies, Ear Aches. What Is The Reason?

I have been sick with congestion, sore throat and ears clogged up for a week. I'm worried about my ears, not so much everything else because I get seasonal allergies around this time but have never suffered from earaches or clogged ears. Is it normal for your ears to get clogged for 4 days? Am I ever going to hear again? FYI, I'm still congested

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
As you stated in your query that you are having allergy.
Gradually allergy develops into asthmatic allergic bronchitis and this is a common feature of allergy.
Clogging of ears is one such symptom of allergy.
In my opinion need not to worry .
1 Once allergy subsides your ears will be fine.
2 Take antihistamine +bronchodilator and your ears will be alright .
Post nasal discharge is one more cause of allergy and ears clogging.
In my opinion don't be in panic , take treatment of allergy and you will be fine.
Consult a physician and get his opinion.
