i suffer with sinus tachycardia , im 36 and 3 months pregnant with my first child. i have a strong family history of heart dissease (my father died of it) last night while standing up i had an episode where my pulse was 220 and bp 159/80, should i contact my midwife also is this dangerous for my unborn child, im starting to get worried as ive had 3 episodes since i became pregnant.. will i continue to get it through out my pregnancy, im dreading the labour as i may have more attacks, i saw a cardiologist about 3 years ago who diagnosed sinus tachycardia

Your blood pressure is of concern and you need to see a your doctor ASAP. High blood pressure is not good for growth of baby as it might lead to abortion, bleeding, Low birth weight babies etc. U need to consult a Obg Specialist and start on medications to lower your blood pressure to normal level for your pregnancy to continue normally..
