Skin Infection Around Nails Of Thumb. Prescribed Clobetasol, Tenovate, Infection Spreading

i have a skin infection around the nails of my thumb of my right foot. i have been prescribed clobetasol onment bp TENOVATE and the infection seems to be healing but the infection has spread to the extent that the root of my thumb nails is visible now. i am afraid of further infections because of that. and any other bad consequences???? please sir help..

this is paronychial infection. The pic u give is a severe condition. This might require a surgical removal of the infected nail . Consult a surgeon.
