Skin Itching, Turning Pink, Skin Colored Bumps Due To Mild Abrasion, Redness Near Hairline. Causes?
for the past several months if something brushes against my skin, it will turn pink and itch . while itching, flesh colored bumps appear. OR, if i have a small itch, let s say on the leg, i will itch it and then pretty soon, the entire leg is itching, then all over the body... plus, if I rub across my forhead, a spot of pink near my hairline will show up. It seems I turned 50 and wierd things are happening.
Hello
Thanks for posting your query.
You seem to be suffering from urticaria and dermographism.
urticaria produces circular weals.
dermographism produces linear weals on the line of scratch mark.
You need to be thoroughly examined for any source of infection.
And blood test to be done which includes usual tests with additional test like thyroid profile, CRP, IgE leves etc.,
You may need a long term anti histamine under your doctor's advice
There is no need to worry as these are simple problems which can be easily tackled.
If possible try to avoid egg, sea food and fish which may definitely help you
Have a good day
