hi skin pigmentation on cheek bones is called melasma.it can be due to hormonal imbalance, cosmetics, ultraviolet rays etc.in pregancy and in menopause it is mainly hormonal imbalance.it can be treated with tubes u used but it should be used for longer time.instead use ban a tan which are steriod free for spots in the night and a sunscreen in the morning can cure it.if no response use chemical peels like azalic acid and mandelic acid.if no response use pigmented lasers
