Sleep Only From 2 Am To 9 Pm. Cannot Sleep At Normal Time. What Is Wrong?
I routinely sleep from about 2am until 6-9pm, then stay up all night and the remainder of the day. This can t be healthy, but if I try and sleep at normal times I just don t feel tired, and when I set alarms for myself to wake up at normal times, I just feel too exhausted to get up. I m a 20 year old female. What s wrong with me?
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
I think that you may be having a circadian rythm sleep disorder. The problem here is in an altered sleep-wake cycle, where body's bilogical clock is not able to work in synchronization with the times required for normal social needs. There are effective treatment options available for this problem - in the form of medication and behavioural techniques, which can rest your biological rythms back to normal. So, I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist for further treatment.
Wish you all the best.
